The American Frontier ...

March 18 and Bell and mum get all dressed up in oldfashioned gear (amazing what you can find in the wardrobe!) for a church play. The play was a reenactment of the beginning of the women's organisation at church called 'Relief Society'(1842). Sharon was Bathsheba Smith (with only one line: "Amen!" so obviously that took a bit of practice!) and Isobel played 'Baby at meeting' and looked so cute and cuddly that several ladies decided to have more babies of their own on the spot (go Bell!).

Finishing touches...

Pioneer Baby!

Kim and Brad were also in the play. Kim got to say four or five lines! and got to stand up and sit down a few times! That's why she got to wear the cool dress and wig! And Brad had the biggest part with four or five pages to say and his costume consisted of his regular clothes and Paul's braces! We had a bit of a fashion show in the local park before we left ... a good way to meet your neighbourhood!

(Thanks again to our friendly local photographers'The Wilsons'for these shots)
