The Empty Case Cast

The Empty Case was filmed in June ... for those who don't know, our buddies Brad and Kim Wilson were in Oz for Brad to complete his Masters in Film at Sydney Uni (good excuse to show Kim Down Under really, especially since Brad had been here for two years before they were married)... and with the final project of his Masters degree looming Brad rashly asked Paul and I to have a go at the script. Paul poured hours of research into Sherlock Holmes and Jonathan Creek episodes (accompanied by some excellent Indian) and I pieced a story together around Paul's ideas ... the result was a script way too long for any film student to produce in a decent time frame (let alone Brad's timeframe of a month, with a crew of four and a baby!) so Brad tactfully started editing the script down to a ten minute (twenty one minutes in the final edit) version which we decided would do just fine as an extended trailer to elicit funding for the feature length version ...
