Bicentennial Park

So we've lived in the inner west for pretty much three years now and the fortnight before we move out we discover an amazingly nice park just three minutes drive from our apartment! Bicentennial Park was apparently opened as part of the Bicentennial celebrations in 1988 (so there goes my theory that its a recent addition to the neighbourhood!)and is located just inside the entrance to the Olympic Park (where the 2000 Olympics were held)in Homebush ... so now you all know if you'd like to check it out!!
