Living in Wenty

We've been living in Wentworthville (a suburb about half an hour west of Sydney) now for about a month and are slowly settling in. Isobel's favourite thing about our new pad is the drain in the backyard which she spends hours throwing things down ... stones, pegs, building blocks, cleaning products ... infact anything that'll fit, also very excitingly its surrounded by little black ashfelt stones that make great chewing gum ... a little rough on the teeth but its worth putting up with for that great mettalic flavour!

Yup I just hide Mum's mascara in here, just wait till she needs it tomorrow morning...it'll be a hoot!

The outside of our new home ... well its got potential right?!

Just kidding! This was actually a house around the block from us where I used to flat with Rachel, Lyndsey and Lara back in 2000 when I first started dating Paul. It was a dream home complete with backing up sewage, bird lice and tobacco stained walls ... incredibly after we all managed to escape one of us went back! Rachel with hubby Alex and littleun Josh rented out their townhouse in Blacktown (about 50 minutes west of Sydney) and moved back in just before Sarah was born... the good news is the landlord finally fixed the sewage problem ... last week!!

Binelong Park ... in Wenty. Biz Biz and I went to our local church mother's group last Friday. They meet at the park weekly and it was great to meet up with some of my old chums from when I lived here before ... well the old chums with bubs now (which is scarily most of them!) at any rate!
