The slippery DIP!

Yes I know it's taking me forever to load all our camping photos from MARCH this year when I should be getting on with more important, up to date, relevant things like the super fun Halloween party Kim organised last week in our driveway or the fact that to date we've caught no less than NINE mice in our kitchen (we thought we had one but nine later!!) but some memories are still worth sharing even when their a little, ahem, out of date!!
By far and away our fav part of camping was the pool area. Infact while we did venture down to the beach for walks and to play we never swam there, not even once ... why would we when there was such a fun (and wonderfully unsandy!) pool right on our tentstep! And the best time to swim was just after breakfast, the pool was still mostly empty and the sun wasn't too hot yet ... so just as well for us we have a family of such early risers!

"No photos please! Don't you know I've been up since 5?!"

So have we but we're still smiling (just!)!

Two massive floaties with a little bit of Bell attached!!

But it still pays to be cautious!

The kiddy's area... apparently kids don't need warm water but supervising adults do!

The warmer grown up bit (and we're all smiles now!)!

And the best bit of all!!

Ready? Steady ...

Splosh!

SPLASH!!

SPLISH!!!!

( and doesn't Paul look dashing in a white tutu!!)

Oh O where's the good poolside photographer gone?

Aha!! Going so fast it's all a blur!

Weeeee....

PLOP! "Again Mum, again!"
Just too much excitement for Jo!
Wonder what he's dreaming ... maybe that he's just been to the shops and forgotten the strawberry yogurt or possibly that he's a Red Indian or maybe, just maybe that there's a nasty bright sun in his eyes just as he's trying to get some sleep!" OK ready Mum, I'll walk you through this nice and slow..."
"First you sit down...
"then slide ...
"bit tricky on the corner ...
"and Weeeeeee"
"Again?!"
"Whoooosssshhhh"
"Wahooooo!"
"OK, I'll give you a bit of a breather Mum then we'll start over in 5!"
"This is one of my favourite baby looks; just woken up, flushed, cute, cuddly ...
and adorable!
All tired out and relaxin!
Just the way life should be!

I love it!!! Looks like so much fun! Now I see why you wanted to move to the Central Coast! Brad and I just might have to go for a camp out down there sometime! Paul does look great in a tutu. I can't believe how much your kids can change in six months. CRAZY!!

Hi guys!
You are ALL adorable (time for Paul to blush and grumble...!).
Anyway, besides geting 11 cats to deal with the mice...mice HATE peppermint; Add two teaspoons of pure peppermint essential oil to one cup (250ml) water in a sprayer. Spray wherever the mice like to go..along baseboards, any edges in cupboards etc. The mice will stay away from what they consider to be an atrocious pong!
