The weather outside is frightful!

Having safely gotten the Christmas party out of the way we thought it was time to pay attention to our own Christmas preparations. No. 1 priority being:
Set up the Christmas tree!
It was an especially hot, humid, sticky day...

when all of a sudden we heard:
Ping, ping, pong, pong, PONG, THUDTHUDTHUD!

Hail!

We thought these pieces were big, until ...

We found these ones!

As big as an ice cube but we did hear stories of blocks as big as an adult palm!
The storm was localised to an area of 5 or 6 suburbs but estimated damage is over 3 billion dollars! Now that's gotta hurt!!

And what did Joseph think of it all?!

Despite the excitement we did manage to finish off!
It's our tree and he's happy to see you!!
