A gorge-ous time!!

The Launceston Gorge hasn't changed at all in the last 26 years (that would be my living memory!!) there's still the beautiful trees, the bubbling brook and the life-threatening swinging bridge to enjoy ... kind of fun being up to show it to MY children now - ah don't I just feel so ancient!!

"Hey Mum, bet this slide wasn't here when you were my age tho!"
"Hey down there! Stop admiring and clear the landing pad!"
Telling Grandma ALL about it!
Isobel's new accessory ... well we don't get much rain where we're from!
"But Daddy said he's from a place where it NEVER stops raining ... just imagine that Nan!"
"Don't interrupt Mum this is my 'Princess Di' pose (good huh!)"
"Just kidding ofcourse you can't have my umbrella but you CAN have this fascinating 'thing' off the ground!"
Ah the vivid red of Tassy (Or Canada rather ... is this what your place is like in Autumn Aunty J?!)
Pretty as a picture!
Isobel's 'walks' NEVER involve much actual 'walking'!
Ah the 'bubbling brook' which easily converts to the 'rampaging torrent of rapids' when they let the Dam out ... great for kayaking ... but I'm not sure how they make it across the path nowadays (the path IS one new thing since my babyhood!)
Teaching my progeny how to look at the camera during a family portrait (well at least I've got it right!)
Bell is a MUCH better teacher!
This 'Cinderella' couch HAS been there since my little days ... the big bad troll HAS NOT (just kiddin' Nanna - that one was Paul!!)!
Spending some 'chill time' (quite literally mid-April in Tas!) in the playground!
Jo's far more interested in the view right now but at least Nanna-Jean gets a cuddle!
The beautiful gorge (complete with the omniscient swinging-HELL-bridge)
"Whatdoyamean it's not RAINing? What's 'RAIN' got to do with anything?!"
Contemplating the real, live WILDlife!
Bell makes sure we can all see it!
The TERROR bridge! Still Swinging after ALL these years!!
Isobel wisely watches her steps, you never know when the evil Granmonster's gonna start the rockin'!
