HOBART!!! Ahhh the crisp morning air off the mountain, the salty tang of the sea, the early morning mist snaking up the rippling ribbon of the mighty Derwent River, the soft buzz of the city and the occasional purr of a passing motorcar (you do occasionally see another out and about!) ... all the heady delights of the land down South and that pearl of a city 'Hobart' (did I mention it rains a heck of a lot less than Launceston too?!).
Idyllically located a 20 minute drive from snow crested, rain forest peaks and an equal distance from untouched, untamed and unmarred virgin surf beaches ... who'd want to live anywhere else?! Who indeed (as long as you have a multi colored Rastafarian tea-cozy to keep the crisp-morning-air from wafting too close to your sensitive warm eardrums that is ...)

A happy duo head back to the car after some very successful Rastafarian tea-cozy shopping at the famous Salamanca Market (that one actually IS famous ... if your a big travel brochure reader!)"So... you reckon we should've gotten one for your Dad too?"
Isobel admires the beauties of Autumn (once she's safely, snug in the warm car and can feel her fingers again!)
Admiring some more 'beauties' down in Kettering (South of Hobart) ... at a lovely little restaurant/cafe, complete with open fires, sweeping fouls and beautiful sunsets (one of the cosy little warm-up spots Mum frequents on those chilly Winter Witnessing arvos)!
"Mmmm well my Mum hasn't let me had any Vegy yet but those glasses are a proven tasty titbit ... now ... if... I... could ... just ... get ... my ... arm... free ..."
