A much smaller boat!

One of the many disadvantages of writing your blog six months behind is that you can't quite remember every little thing and one of those things for me is exactly when the battle for the Wilson's working visa ended and the wonderful event of work for Brad started (it wasn't that we wanted to get rid of him but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!).
I do remember though that the battle of the visa raged most of the way through Summer (thanks to the massive inconvenience of a new labour government throwing out the old visa laws upon which Brad's original offer of work was based!).
However some very committed searching later and Brad not only found a great new job but was granted a brand new visa in the nick of time (thus avoiding what would have been a very sad departure not only for the Smiths but for our home PC too- which we have no idea how to use properly but Brad is some kind of whiz-bang at ...!)
Anyway!
With the imminent departure of Brad from our week day excursions looming we thought we'd better make the most of it and (inspired by our recent admiration of the BIG Boat) caught the much smaller, breezier version down Parramatta River to Circular Quay (where else?!).
Which I have to say was a whole lotta fun!! The colourful crew!
"You want me to hold Milz too? No prob! I've still got plenty of room left on my shoulders!"
Two rascally women!

Gettin' a bird's eye view!

"Hey Mum, any chance of a real jumper? It's gettin a bit breezy up front!"
Breeze? What breeze?!

All rugged up and Brad takes over Isobel's nautical sign education:
This one means:
"Stop! We're about hit the bridge!"

This one's:

"Quick crew! Grab hold of something! We have hit the bridge!"

"ARRGGHH! I see it! I see the bridge!!"

Whatta great view!
Just time to put a few finishing touches on the hair set!
And here we go!
